Facilities on the Portsmouth to St Malo Route
Brittany Ferries use the Bretagne cruise ferry for all sailings on the Portsmouth-St Malo route.
The Bretagne offers a range of facilities including luxury cabins, self-service and a la carte restaurants, sundecks, a piano bar and duty-free shopping.
There’s onboard entertainment for all the family, from a programme of entertainment for the kids to cabaret and live music. During school holidays keep a look out for Pierre Le Bear, the resident onboard cheeky mascot.
Like on other routes operated by Brittany Ferries, cabins are compulsory on all overnight sailings on the route between Portsmouth and St Malo. All 2 berth cabins have twin or bunk-style beds and ensuite facilities. 4 berth cabins have bunk-style beds, with the option to upgrade to include a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There’s an additional option of a 3 berth cabin, which offers twin beds plus a sofa bed (a great option for smaller families). Parents can also pre-book a cot in cabin for any infants up to 24 months.
Wheelchair accessible cabins are available on the Bretagne. As well as offering more space, these cabins also feature an alarm and telephone.
