Brittany Ferries operates up to 7 sailings per week on the Plymouth to Roscoff crossing. Unlike some other routes operated by Brittany Ferries, the company does access foot passengers on this service.

Check-in closes 45 minutes before the departure time, with the crossing taking 5.5 hours for daytime sailings from Plymouth and 5 to 8 hours for daytime sailings from Roscoff. Overnight sailings are longer, taking 9 to 11 hours from Plymouth and up to 13 hours from Roscoff. Facilities on the Plymouth to Roscoff Route

Brittany Ferries use Pont-Aven and Armorique to sail the Plymouth-Roscoff route. These luxury cruise ferries offer all the creature comforts you’d expect, coupled with great service.

The Pont-Aven is the flagship ferry in the fleet, as well as being the largest with the space to carry up to 2,400 passengers. Onboard you’ll be treated to a mix of self-service and a la carte restaurants, cinemas, boutique shops (for your duty free purchases), play areas for children and even a pool.

Introuced to the fleet in 2009, Armorique was specifically designed for the Plymouth-Roscoff route and aims to capture the colours and space of the Brittany region of France. There’s an open-plan feel to the ferry and passengers are well catered for with boutiques, 2 cinemas, a video games area, reading lounge and a children’s playroom.

Cabins are compulsory on all overnight sailings on the route between Plymouth and Roscuff. On both ferries, all 2 berth cabins have bunk-style beds and ensuite facilities. 4 berth cabins have twin or bunk-style beds, ensuite facilities and optional laminate flooring (for those travelling with pets).

Wheelchair accessible cabins are available on the Pont-Aven and Armorique, but availability is limited and so early booking is essential. As well as offering turning space for those with limited mobility, these cabins also feature an alarm and telephone.
